ENTRIES NOW OPEN
The Statewide Mutual Risk Management Excellence Awards (RMEAs) acknowledge excellence by NSW councils in implementing risk management programs using the process and principles outlined in AS ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management Guidelines.
Awarded since 1995, the award is open to all NSW Member Councils and exists to promote:
- recognition of risk management as a management structure;
- awareness of risk management issues;
- innovation in risk reduction; and
- recognition of that innovation.
With the suspension of the Annual Statewide Mutual conference for 2020, we are instead excited to be hosting a series of regional risk roadshows.
The RMEAs are a great way for councils and Statewide to acknowledge, and thank staff for their sustained efforts and commitment to manage risk and seek continuous improvement.
In keeping with the regional theme, this year’s RMEAs focus on outstanding and innovative risk initiatives at a regional level.
One regional award will be presented at each of the Regional Risk Roadshows.
Entries close on Friday the 25th of September 2020.
