Whether you’ve never used drones in your workplace or you’re considering upgrading and expanding, AVCRM are providing Statewide Mutual Member Councils with a fantastic opportunity to unlock the possibilities that drone usage can provide in Local Government.
The package up for grabs will demonstrate how drones can be utilised to help achieve Council operational objectives.

- Fully provided Remote Pilot License Course (Valued at $2,750 inclusive of GST), including Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate, sub 7kg Multi-Rotor endorsement and sub 25kg Multi-Rotor endorsement (This will be provided by Aviassist – Australia’s premier RPA Training School – and one of our partners).
- Full Remote Operator’s Certificate Document Package and Assessment Mentoring, including application fees to CASA (Valued at $3,000)
- DJI Mavic Air (Small Drone) Fly More Package, includes two extra sets of propellers, propeller guards, two additional intelligent batteries, a battery charging hub and a protective travel bag (Valued at $1,600)
- Online implementation training, and on-boarding of Staff (Valued at $800).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Please submit a short description (maximum 500 words) via the form below detailing what new and innovative ways Council can utilise drones in the workplace and how this use can benefit the organisation. The winner will be selected by a judging panel from AVCRM based upon who they decide will benefit from the prize package the most, as outlined by their application. The judges decision in relation to any aspects of the competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entries close Wednesday 21 August, 2019 with the winning Council to be announced at the Statewide Mutual Risk Management Conference dinner on Thursday 29 August 2019.
